Serendipity

Things happen for a reason.

There is no coincidence or pure luck. For what will be done, will be done even in the smallest intended act. For what should be said, should be said even in the slightest whisper of words. What is meant to be will be.

The entire universe conspires to bring forth a significant memento of life in a blink of an eye and before you know it, a revelation of transformation.

No matter how random a circumstance might appear, it is not trivial or inconsequential for there is a chain that links every single thing in this world. Newton said it perfectly. "For every action there is an equal but different reaction."

It is not by chance that a person dies. He will not die in vain for his death might become a catalyst for change or perhaps the courage that fuels unity and freedom.

It is not by chance that a child is born. His birth is not insignificant for there will always be a meaning to life. He might live to be the liberator of the oppressed, the hope of the desperate or perhaps the mind behind the remedy of the sick.

It is not by chance that two lives intertwine. No man is an island. There will always be the other half that completes him. A lover, a friend, a sister, a father or a child that becomes the ultimate reason for his existence. A person that makes the journey through life worthwhile.

It is not by chance that I met you. I may not know now why fate brought you to me. This may or may not be the making of a love story. But if I'll live to see my hair turned gray and I find myself sitting on the front porch looking after my grandchildren, I would like to look back at our memories and find out why you came along and why people call it Serendipity.
